  • My name is Joidyn Wester, and I am a dedicated and passionate individual with a flair for creativity and marketing. As a graduate of Vanderbilt University, I have devoted myself to honing and expanding my creative talents, particularly through my multifaceted roles within my sorority and as an outreach fellow.

As the Vice President of the Mu Rho Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., I led the charge in developing thematic programming while championing innovative ideas and concepts. I oversaw the creative direction of our chapter, managing graphic design projects, video production, and devising strategic marketing campaigns to enhance our reach and impact.

Beyond my sorority involvement, I have worked as an outreach fellow for ActBlue for nearly three years where my journey is marked by a meticulous eye for detail and a passion for fostering efficiency through strategic organizational systems and agreements. In this role, I excel in coordinating with department heads, project partners, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of projects and initiatives, and in making informed decisions under pressure, drawing upon a blend of analytical thinking and creative problem-solving to overcome challenges and drive projects forward.

Throughout these experiences, I have cultivated invaluable skills in strategic planning, creative problem-solving, and effective communication. As I embark on the next chapter of my journey, I am eager to continue leveraging my passion for creativity and my dedication to making a positive impact in every endeavor I pursue.

  • am recent graduate from Kennesaw State University with a degree in Interaction Design. I’m a Georgia native and also Nigerian. I am proud to have recently received Magna Cum Laude honors in completion of my degree and have been the youngest in my family to have a bachelor’s. I am also a UI designer - I design interfaces across screens (mobile, desktop, web) that are both visually pleasing and usable. I aspire to continue to explore more pathways in my field including UX research and UX design. I hope to apply all that I have been able to learn in my time in and out of school into creative outlets I am passionate about.
